Join us for an afternoon where Latino voices take center stage through spoken word poetry and live music. Rooted in tradition yet alive with today’s rhythms, La Placita: Stories and Sounds is a celebration of Latin storytelling, song, and culture in all its vibrancy.

Curated by poet and instructor Matthew Marroquín - in partnership with Latinos of Montclair - this community gathering honors heritage, uplifts voices, and invites us all to share in the sounds that connect us across generations.
